The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The poor among the believers will enter Paradise before the rich by half a day, which is five hundred years."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا محمد بن بشر عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ يدخل فقراء المؤمنين الجنة قبل الأغنياء بنصف يوم خمس مائة عام
[Its chain of transmission is hasan]Reported by Tirmidhi, in the chapter on Zuhd, in the section on what has been narrated that the poor among the migrants will enter Paradise before their wealthy counterparts, hadiths 2353 and 2354, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr, with this wording. He said, hasan sahih. It is also found in Musannaf, 13/246.Tirmidhi also reported it in hadith 2351, through another route, from Amash, from Atiya, from Abu Saeed, with this wording.
