The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Mahdi will appear among my nation. If his time is short, it will be seven years, otherwise nine. During his rule, my nation will enjoy a prosperity they have never experienced before. The earth will yield its produce and will hold nothing back from them. Wealth on that day will be heaped in piles. A man will stand up and say, 'Mahdi, give me something,' and he will say, 'Take.'"

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Tirmidhi narrated it, Fitan: 53, no. 2232, from the hadith of Shubah from Zayd, and he said, hasan. His condition has already been discussed, no. 2703, and the hadith is daif because of him.
