On the night the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was taken on the night journey, he met Ibrahim, Musa, and Isa, and they discussed the Hour. They began with Ibrahim and asked him about it, but he had no knowledge of it. Then they asked Musa, but he too had no knowledge of it. So the matter was referred to Isa, son of Maryam, who said, "I have been entrusted with knowledge of what precedes its onset, but as for its actual coming, none knows it except Allah."He then mentioned the emergence of the Dajjal and said, "I will descend and kill him. The people will return to their lands, and they will be met by Yajuj and Majuj, who will come swarming down from every height. They will not pass by any water without drinking it, nor by anything without ruining it. The people will cry out to Allah, and I will pray to Allah to cause them to die. The earth will then stink from their stench. The people will cry out to Allah again, and I will pray to Allah, and He will send rain from the sky which will carry them away and cast them into the sea. Then the mountains will be pulverized and the earth stretched out like a hide. I have been entrusted with the knowledge that when this happens, the Hour will be upon mankind like a pregnant woman whose family does not know when she will suddenly deliver."Awwam said, "And confirmation of this is found in the Book of Allah the Exalted, 'Until, when Yajuj and Majuj are let loose and they swarm down from every height'" [Anbiya 21:96].

لما كان ليلة أسري برسول الله ﷺ لقي إبراهيم وموسى وعيسى فتذاكروا الساعة فبدءوا بإبراهيم فسألوه عنها فلم يكن عنده منها علم ثم سألوا موسى فلم يكن عنده منها علم فرد الحديث إلى عيسى ابن مريم فقال قد عهد إلي فيما دون وجبتها فأما وجبتها فلا يعلمها إلا الله فذكر خروج الدجال قال فأنزل فأقتله فيرجع الناس إلى بلادهم فيستقبلهم يأجوج ومأجوج وهم من كل حدب ينسلون فلا يمرون بماء إلا شربوه ولا بشيء إلا أفسدوه فيجأرون إلى الله فأدعو الله أن يميتهم فتنتن الأرض من ريحهم فيجأرون إلى الله فأدعو الله فيرسل السماء بالماء فيحملهم فيلقيهم في البحر ثم تنسف الجبال وتمد الأرض مد الأديم فعهد إلي متى كان ذلك كانت الساعة من الناس كالحامل التي لا يدري أهلها متى تفجؤهم بولادتها قال العوام ووجد تصديق ذلك في كتاب الله تعالى {حتى إذا فتحت يأجوج ومأجوج وهم من كل حدب ينسلون}

Sourcing, [its chain of transmission is sahih]. Ahmad reported it (1/375) through the hadith of Awwam, with the same wording. Busiri graded it sahih, as did Hakim (2/384) and Dhahabi, and I have not seen any evidence supporting those who declared it daif.Muthir is trustworthy. The moderate Ajli graded him trustworthy, as did Ibn Hibban and others.
