Shall I tell you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that no one will narrate to you after me? I heard him say, "Among the signs of the Hour are that knowledge will be taken away, ignorance will prevail, fornication will spread, wine will be drunk, men will perish, and women will remain, until there is one man overseeing fifty women."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار ومحمد بن المثنى قالا حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة سمعت قتادة يحدث
ألا أحدثكم حديثا سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ لا يحدثكم به أحد بعدي سمعته منه إن من أشراط الساعة أن يرفع العلم ويظهر الجهل ويفشو الزنا ويشرب الخمر ويذهب الرجال ويبقى النساء حتى يكون لخمسين امرأة قيم واحد
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Knowledge, Chapter on the Removal of Knowledge and the Emergence of Ignorance, hadith 81, from the narration of Shubah. Muslim also reported it in the Book of Knowledge, Chapter on the Removal and Seizing of Knowledge and the Emergence of Ignorance and Turmoil at the End of Time, hadith 2671, from Ibn Bashar, with the same wording.
