The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Women, give in charity and seek forgiveness often, for I have seen that you make up the majority of the inhabitants of the Fire."A sharp-witted woman among them asked, "Why is it, Messenger of Allah, that we make up the majority of the inhabitants of the Fire?"He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have never seen anyone more capable of overcoming a sensible man than you, despite your deficiency in intellect and religion."She asked, "Messenger of Allah, what is this deficiency in intellect and religion?"He answered, "As for the deficiency in intellect, the testimony of two women equals the testimony of one man, so this is from the deficiency in intellect. And she spends nights without praying and breaks her fast in Ramadan, so this is from the deficiency in religion."
حدثنا محمد بن رمح أنبأنا الليث بن سعد عن ابن الهاد عن عبد الله بن دينار
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال يا معشر النساء تصدقن وأكثرن من الاستغفار فإني رأيتكن أكثر أهل النار فقالت امرأة منهن جزلة وما لنا يا رسول الله أكثر أهل النار قال تكثرن اللعن وتكفرن العشير ما رأيت من ناقصات عقل ودين أغلب لذي لب منكن قالت يا رسول الله وما نقصان العقل والدين قال أما نقصان العقل فشهادة امرأتين تعدل شهادة رجل فهذا من نقصان العقل وتمكث الليالي ما تصلي وتفطر في رمضان فهذا من نقصان الدين
