The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The time is near when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep that he takes to the mountain peaks and places where rain falls, fleeing with his religion from trials."
حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الأنصاري عن أبيه أنه سمع
قال رسول الله ﷺ يوشك أن يكون خير مال المسلم غنم يتبع بها شعف الجبال ومواقع القطر يفر بدينه من الفتن
[Sahih] This is how Ibn Majah stated it, but the correct version is, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah, from his father. Bukhari also recorded it, in the Book of Faith, chapter on fleeing from tribulations being part of religion, hadith no. 19, and others recorded it as well.
