The Prophet ﷺ said, "The believer is one whom people trust with their wealth and their lives, and the emigrant is one who abandons sins and wrongdoings."

SourcingIts chain is hasan.Ibn Manda narrated it in Iman (1/452, no. 315) from the hadith of Ibn Wahb, with the same wording, and Ahmad (2/21, 22) from the hadith of Abu Hani Humayd bin Hani, with the same wording.Busiri graded it sahih, as did Ibn Hibban (in Mawarid, no. 25) and Hakim (1/10, 11), according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs.It has corroborating narrations with Ibn Hibban (no. 26) and others.
