The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot take on my likeness."
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي إسحق عن أبي الأحوص
عن النبي ﷺ قال من رآني في المنام فقد رآني في اليقظة فإن الشيطان لا يتمثل على صورتي
Sourcing, [sahih] Tirmidhi transmitted it in Ruya, chapter on what the Prophet ﷺ said about "whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me," hadith no. 2276, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri, and it has many corroborating narrations. See the following hadith.
