The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A good dream seen by a righteous man is one of forty-six parts of prophethood."
حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا مالك بن أنس حدثني إسحق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة
قال رسول الله ﷺ الرؤيا الحسنة من الرجل الصالح جزء من ستة وأربعين جزءا من النبوة
Bukhari, book of Dream Interpretation, chapter titled "The Dreams of the Righteous," hadith no. 6983, from the hadith of Malik through this same chain, and it is found in Muwatta: 2/956.
