The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three supplications that are answered without any doubt: the supplication of the wronged, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of a parent for their child."
حدثنا أبو بكر حدثنا عبد الله بن بكر السهمي عن هشام الدستوائي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن أبي جعفر
قال رسول الله ﷺ ثلاث دعوات يستجاب لهن لا شك فيهن دعوة المظلوم ودعوة المسافر ودعوة الوالد لولده
[Hasan] Reported by Abu Dawud, Salah, Chapter on Supplicating for Someone in Their Absence, no. 1536, from the hadith of Dastawai through this route. Tirmidhi graded it hasan, no. 3448, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2406. It has many corroborating narrations in Hakim, 1/417, 418, and Haythami (Majma, 10/151), and others.
