The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I seek forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance one hundred times each day."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا محمد بن بشر عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ إني لأستغفر الله وأتوب إليه في اليوم مائة مرة
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Ahmad reported it, 2/450, and Nasai in Al-Kubra, 114/6, no. 12068, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr, through this same chain. Busiri graded it sahih, as did Baghawi in Sharh al-Sunnah, 70/5, no. 1286. The hadith has many corroborating narrations.
