Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw something that pleased him, he would say, "Praise be to Allah by whose grace good works are completed." And whenever he saw something he disliked, he would say, "Praise be to Allah in every circumstance."

Source. Its chain is daif. Ibn Sunni narrated it, no. 378, from the hadith of Hisham bin Khalid through this same route. Hakim graded it sahih, 1/499, and Nawawi said in Adhkar (1006), "with a good chain," and Busiri also graded it sahih.Walid was mentioned previously, no. 255. He did not explicitly state that he heard it in the continuous chain of transmission, and there is another defect in it, no. 919.
