The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you are three, two should not converse privately to the exclusion of the third, for that grieves him."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا أبو معاوية ووكيع عن الأعمش عن شقيق
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا كنتم ثلاثة فلا يتناجى اثنان دون صاحبهما فإن ذلك يحزنه
Recorded by Muslim, Book of Greeting, Chapter on the Prohibition of Two People Conversing Privately in Front of a Third Without His Consent, hadith 38/2184, from Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numayr, transmitted in a summarized form, and he did not mention Wakee.
