The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not leave fire in your houses when you go to sleep."
حدثنا أبو بكر حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري
أن النبي ﷺ قال لا تتركوا النار في بيوتكم حين تنامون
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Seeking Permission, Chapter: Do not leave fire in the house when sleeping, hadith no. 6293, from Sufyan through this chain, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks, Chapter: The recommendation of covering vessels, meaning covering them, and tying the waterskin, etc., hadith no. 2015/100, from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba through this chain.
