The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever plays with dice has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان وأبو أسامة عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع عن سعيد بن أبي هند
قال رسول الله ﷺ من لعب بالنرد فقد عصى الله ورسوله
[Its chain is daif] Abu Dawud reported it in the book of Adab, chapter on the prohibition of playing nard, through the hadith of Saeed bin Abu Hind, and Hakim graded it sahih according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs (50/1), and Dhahabi agreed with him, hadith no. 4938. Saeed is trustworthy, from the third generation, and he transmitted a mursal report from Abu Musa (Taqrib), so the chain is disconnected. The hadith in Sahih Muslim (226) suffices in its place.
