The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best house among the Muslims is a house in which there is an orphan who is treated well, and the worst house among the Muslims is a house in which there is an orphan who is treated badly."

[Its chain is daif]. Abd bin Humayd narrated it in his Musnad, no. 1467, from the hadith of Ibn Mubarak with this chain, and it is also in his Zuhd, no. 654. Busiri declared it daif, and Iraqi said in his takhrij of the Ihya, "It contains weakness," its defect being the weakness of Yahya bin Abu Sulayman.
