Abu Quhafa was brought before the Prophet ﷺ on the day of the conquest, and his head was as white as the thaghamah plant. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Take him to one of his wives so she may change its color, but keep him away from black."

جيء بأبي قحافة يوم الفتح إلى النبي ﷺ وكأن رأسه ثغامة فقال رسول الله ﷺ اذهبوا به إلى بعض نسائه فلتغيره وجنبوه السواد
