The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best thing with which you can change gray hair is henna and katam."
حدثنا أبو بكر حدثنا عبد الله بن إدريس عن الأجلح عن عبد الله بن بريدة عن أبي الأسود الديلمي
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن أحسن ما غيرتم به الشيب الحناء والكتم
[Sahih] Reported by Abu Dawud, Combing the Hair, chapter on dyeing the hair, no. 4205, from the hadith of Ibn Burayda through this chain, and Tirmidhi said, no. 1753, hasan sahih, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1475.
