The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wear a shirt with short sleeves and short in length.

[Its isnad is daif] Ibn Saad reported it, 1/459, from the hadith of Hasan bin Salih with this wording. See no. 2296 regarding the status of Muslim al-Awar al-Malai. Abu Dawud reported it, no. 4027, with a hasan isnad, and Tirmidhi graded it hasan, 1765, "The sleeve of the garment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reached to the wrist."
