The Prophet ﷺ said, "If any one of you, when he stops at a place to rest, says, 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created,' nothing in that place will harm him until he departs from it."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عفان حدثنا وهب قال حدثنا محمد بن عجلان عن يعقوب بن عبد الله بن الأشج عن سعيد بن المسيب عن سعد بن مالك
أن النبي ﷺ قال لو أن أحدكم إذا نزل منزلا قال أعوذ بكلمات الله التامة من شر ما خلق لم يضره في ذلك المنزل شيء حتى يرتحل منه
[Sahih] Nasai recorded it in al-Kubra, no. 10395, from the hadith of Wahib in a similar manner, and Muslim recorded it in al-Daawat, the chapter on seeking refuge from a bad decree, the misery of hardship, and other things, no. 2708, from the hadith of Yaqub, from Busr bin Saeed, from Saad, from Khawlah.
