The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On one of the fly's wings is poison, and on the other is a cure. When it falls into your food, dip it fully in, for it puts the poison forward and holds the cure back."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن ابن أبي ذئب عن سعيد بن خالد عن أبي سلمة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال في أحد جناحي الذباب سم وفي الآخر شفاء فإذا وقع في الطعام فامقلوه فيه فإنه يقدم السم ويؤخر الشفاء
[Its isnad is hasan] Nasai narrated it in "Farʿ and Atirah, the fly falling into the vessel," no. 4267, from the hadith of Ibn Abu Dhib, with this wording, and Busiri graded it hasan.Saeed bin Khalid bin Abdullah bin Qariz is hasan al-hadith, and the rest of the chain is sahih.
