Whenever the Prophet ﷺ suffered a sore or a thorn prick, he would apply henna to it.

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Recorded by Abu Dawud in al-Tibb, chapter titled "Cupping," no. 3858, from the hadith of Faid, freed slave of Ubaydullah, through this route. Tirmidhi said, in no. 2054, hasan gharib. I say, Ubaydullah bin Ali is lenient in hadith (Taqrib), and the rest of the chain is hasan, and it has corroborating narrations.
