The Prophet ﷺ had a kohl container from which he would apply kohl three times to each eye.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن عباد بن منصور عن عكرمة
كانت للنبي ﷺ مكحلة يكتحل منها ثلاثا في كل عين
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Clothing, chapter on kohl, hadith no. 1757, from the hadith of Abbad, and he said it is hasan, gharib. See also hadith no. 3477 and others, due to the weakness of Abbad.
