We passed by a pool of water and began drinking from it directly with our mouths. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not drink with your mouths. Rather, wash your hands and then drink from them, for there is no vessel better than the hand."

مررنا على بركة فجعلنا نكرع فيها فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا تكرعوا ولكن اغسلوا أيديكم ثم اشربوا فيها فإنه ليس إناء أطيب من اليد
