I gave the Prophet ﷺ water from Zamzam to drink, and he drank it while standing. I mentioned this to Ikrima, and he swore by Allah that he did not do so.
حدثنا سويد بن سعيد حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن عاصم عن الشعبي
سقيت النبي ﷺ من زمزم فشرب قائما فذكرت ذلك لعكرمة فحلف بالله ما فعل
Bukhari narrated it in the Hajj chapter, section on what has been reported about Zamzam, hadith 1637, and Muslim narrated it in the Drinks chapter, section on drinking Zamzam water while standing, hadith 2027, both from the hadith of Asim, with the same chain.
