Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever cleans himself with stones should use an odd number. Whoever does so has done well, and whoever does not, there is no blame on him.Whoever picks his teeth should spit out what he removes, and whoever cleans them with his tongue should swallow. Whoever does so has done well, and whoever does not, there is no blame on him.Whoever goes out to relieve himself should conceal himself, and if he finds nothing but a mound of sand, let him heap it up in front of him, for the devil toys with the places where the son of Adam relieves himself. Whoever does so has done well, and whoever does not, there is no blame on him.Whoever applies kohl should do it an odd number of times. Whoever does so has done well, and whoever does not, there is no blame on him. And whoever cleans his teeth with his tongue should swallow."
