The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wine comes from these two trees, the date palm and the grapevine."
حدثنا يزيد بن عبد الله اليمامي حدثنا عكرمة بن عمار حدثنا أبو كثير السحيمي
قال رسول الله ﷺ الخمر من هاتين الشجرتين النخلة والعنبة
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks, chapter on the explanation that everything fermented that is made from dates and grapes is called wine, hadith no. 15/1985, from the hadith of Ikrima, through this same chain.
