The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a man from eating while lying flat on his face.
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا كثير بن هشام حدثنا جعفر بن برقان عن الزهري
نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن يأكل الرجل وهو منبطح على وجهه
[Its chain is daif] Abu Dawud collected it in the Book of Foods, chapter on sitting at a table on which there is something disliked, hadith 3774, from the hadith of Kathir bin Hisham, with this chain, and he said, "Jafar did not hear this hadith from Zuhri, and it is munkar," and it contains another defect mentioned earlier at 707.
