We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not relieve himself until he had gone out of sight where no one could see him.

خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ في سفر وكان رسول الله ﷺ لا يأتي البراز حتى يتغيب فلا يرى

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Purification, Chapter on Withdrawing When Relieving Oneself, volume 2, from the hadith of Ismail with this wording, and he is daif as stated in Taqrib and other works. Some of the hadith has corroborating narrations found in Dawud, volume 1, and elsewhere.
