One day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I wish we had a loaf of white bread made from refined wheat, kneaded with clarified butter, to eat."A man from the Ansar heard this, prepared such a loaf, and brought it to him.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "What was this clarified butter stored in?"The man replied, "In a skin made from a lizard's hide."So he refused to eat it.

قال رسول الله ﷺ ذات يوم وددت لو أن عندنا خبزة بيضاء من برة سمراء ملبقة بسمن نأكلها قال فسمع بذلك رجل من الأنصار فاتخذه فجاء به إليه فقال رسول الله ﷺ في أي شيء كان هذا السمن قال في عكة ضب قال فأبى أن يأكله
[Its chain of transmission is extremely daif] Abu Dawud reported it in the Book of Foods, chapter on combining two kinds of food, hadith no. 3818, from the hadith of Fadl bin Musa, with this wording. Ayub here is not al-Sakhtiyani as Abu Dawud, may Allah have mercy on him, claimed, but is probably Ibn Khawt, as mentioned in Nukat Ziraf 9/75, and he is a discarded narrator, as stated in Taqrib and other sources.
