We were eating from a bowl when he said, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever eats from a bowl and then licks it clean, the bowl prays for forgiveness for him.'"
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أنبأنا أبو اليمان البراء قال حدثتني جدتي أم عاصم قالت دخل علينا
ونحن نأكل في قصعة فقال قال النبي ﷺ من أكل في قصعة فلحسها استغفرت له القصعة
Its isnad is daif. Reported by Tirmidhi, in the Book of Foods, chapter on what has been said about a morsel that falls, no. 1804, from the hadith of Abu Yaman Bara, through Mualla bin Rashid Hudhali, and he said, "Gharib." Umm Asim, I did not find any authentication for her, and Allah knows best. The rest of the chain is hasan.
