The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Food enough for one is enough for two, food enough for two is enough for three or four, and food enough for four is enough for five or six."
حدثنا الحسن بن علي الخلال حدثنا الحسن بن موسى حدثنا سعيد بن زيد حدثنا عمرو بن دينار قهرمان آل الزبير قال سمعت سالم بن عبد الله بن عمر عن أبيه عن جده
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن طعام الواحد يكفي الاثنين وإن طعام الاثنين يكفي الثلاثة والأربعة وإن طعام الأربعة يكفي الخمسة والستة
[Sahih] Bazzar (Kashf Astar) narrated it, 2/51,52, no. 1185, from the hadith of Hasan bin Musa, and he said, Amr bin Dinar alone transmitted it, and he is lenient. The preceding hadith serves as a corroborating witness for it. Busiri graded the hadith daif on account of the steward of the family of Zubayr.
