I slaughtered two rabbits with a sharp stone and brought them to the Prophet ﷺ, and he instructed me to eat them.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن عاصم عن الشعبي
ذبحت أرنبين بمروة فأتيت بهما النبي ﷺ فأمرني بأكلهما
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Sacrifices, chapter on slaughtering with a Marwa stone, no. 2822, from the hadith of Asim, with this chain, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1069, as did Hakim and Dhahabi.
