We bought a ram to sacrifice, and a wolf attacked it, taking part of its tail or its ear. We asked the Prophet ﷺ about it, and he instructed us to sacrifice it.
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ومحمد بن عبد الملك أبو بكر قالا حدثنا عبد الرزاق عن الثوري عن جابر بن يزيد عن محمد بن قرظة الأنصاري
ابتعنا كبشا نضحي به فأصاب الذئب من أليته أو أذنه فسألنا النبي ﷺ فأمرنا أن نضحي به

[Its chain is daif] Ahmad reported it, 3/32, from Thawri, with the same wording, and Shubah followed him as narrated by Ahmad, 3/78, 86, where one of the narrators asked his teacher, "Did he hear it from Abu Saeed Muhammad?" He said, "No." Busiri graded it daif because of Jabir Jafi, as mentioned earlier, h. 356.
