The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed a cow on behalf of those of his wives who performed Umrah during the Farewell Pilgrimage, sharing it among them.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم حدثنا الأوزاعي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن أبي سلمة
ذبح رسول الله ﷺ عمن اعتمر من نسائه في حجة الوداع بقرة بينهن
Its isnad is daif. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Rites, chapter on sacrificial cattle, no. 1751, from the hadith of Walid, with this wording. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 977, as did Hakim, 1/467, saying it meets the standard of the two Shaykhs, and Dhahabi agreed with him. Yahya bin Abu Kathir used an ambiguous transmission formula (anana), but the hadith of Bukhari, no. 1709, and Muslim, no. 1211/125, 1319, renders it unnecessary.
