The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you cleans himself after relieving himself, he should not clean himself with his right hand. Let him clean himself with his left hand."

[Its isnad is hasan] Abu Dawud narrated it in Kitab al-Tahara, chapter titled the dislike of facing the qibla when relieving oneself, no. 8, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Ajlan, with the same chain, in a longer form. Ibn Khuzayma and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih.
