Ubayy reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When one of you urinates, he must not touch his private part with his right hand, nor cleanse himself with his right hand."Abdul-Rahman bin Ibrahim narrated to us, Walid bin Muslim narrated to us, Uzai narrated to us with his chain of transmission something similar.
حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا عبد الحميد بن حبيب بن أبي العشرين حدثنا الأوزاعي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير حدثني
أبي أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول إذا بال أحدكم فلا يمس ذكره بيمينه ولا يستنج بيمينه حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم حدثنا الأوزاعي بإسناده نحوه
Bukhari narrated it, in the Book of wudu, Chapter "One should not hold his penis with his right hand while urinating," hadith no. 154, from the hadith of Uzai, with the same wording, and others also narrated it. Muslim also narrated it, in the Book of Purification, Chapter on the prohibition of cleaning oneself after relieving oneself with the right hand, hadith no. 267, from the hadith of Yahya, with the same wording.
