The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while on his cropped-eared she-camel at Arafat, said, "Do you know what day this is, what month this is, and what land this is?"They replied, "This is a sacred land, a sacred month, and a sacred day."He said, "Indeed, your wealth and your blood are sacred to you, just as the sanctity of this month of yours, in this land of yours, on this day of yours. Indeed, I will precede you to the Pool, and I will take pride in your numbers before the other nations, so do not blacken my face. Indeed, I will rescue some people, and some people will be taken away from me. I will say, 'My Lord, my companions!' He will reply, 'You do not know what they introduced after you.'"
[Sahih] Busiri graded it sahih. Zafir is truthful but makes many errors (Taqrib), and his teacher, Saeed bin Sinan Shaybani, is hasan al-hadith. It has a sahih corroborating narration in Nasai, no. 4099, in al-Kubra 2/444, with a slight variation, and it has other corroborating narrations, by which the hadith is confirmed as sahih. Praise be to Allah.
