The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let none of you find it too hard, when he enters his lavatory, to say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the foul and filthy one, the wicked corrupter, the accursed Satan.'"Abu Hasan Qattan said, Abu Hatim also narrated to us, saying that Ibn Abu Maryam narrated to them, and he related something similar, except that in his version he did not say "from the foul and filthy one." He only said, "from the wicked corrupter, the accursed Satan."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يعجز أحدكم إذا دخل مرفقه أن يقول اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الرجس النجس الخبيث المخبث الشيطان الرجيم قال أبو الحسن القطان وحدثنا أبو حاتم حدثنا ابن أبي مريم فذكر نحوه ولم يقل في حديثه من الرجس النجس إنما قال من الخبيث المخبث الشيطان الرجيم
