We were with the Prophet ﷺ while in the state of ihram, and whenever we met a rider we would let our garments down from over our heads, and once he had passed we would lift them again.Ali bin Muhammad narrated to us, Abdullah bin Idris narrated to us, from Yazid bin Abu Ziyad, from Mujahid, from Ayesha, from the Prophet ﷺ, a similar report.

كنا مع النبي ﷺ ونحن محرمون فإذا لقينا الراكب أسدلنا ثيابنا من فوق رءوسنا فإذا جاوزنا رفعناها حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا عبد الله بن إدريس عن يزيد بن أبي زياد عن مجاهد عن عائشة عن النبي ﷺ بنحوه

Its chain is daif. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Rites of Hajj, chapter on the woman in ihram covering her face, hadith no. 1833, from the hadith of Yazid, with the same wording, and it is daif as mentioned before, hadith no. 504.
