I learned the talbiyah directly from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as he was saying, "Here I am, Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Indeed, all praise, blessing, and dominion belong to You. You have no partner."The narrator said that Ibn Umar used to add to it, "Here I am, here I am, here I am, and at Your service. All good is in Your hands. Here I am. To You is all longing and all action."
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter on talbiyah, its description, and its timing, hadith no. 20/1184b, from the hadith of Ubaydullah bin Umar with this wording. Its basic report is agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim] from the hadith of Malik, from Nafi, with this wording. Bukhari, hadith no. 1549, and Muslim, hadith no. 1184.
