The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took the sword Dhul-Fiqar as his personal share of the spoils on the day of Badr.
حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا ابن الصلت عن ابن أبي الزناد عن أبيه عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله
أن رسول الله ﷺ تنفل سيفه ذا الفقار يوم بدر
[Its isnad is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it in Kitab al-Siyar, chapter "On the Extra Share of Booty," no. 1561(b), from the hadith of Ibn Abu Zinad, through this route, and he said, "Hasan gharib."
