The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Performing ablution thoroughly is half of faith. 'Praise be to Allah' fills the scale. 'Glory be to Allah' and 'Allah is the greatest' fill the heavens and the earth. Prayer is light. Charity is proof. Patience is illumination. The Quran is either an argument for you or against you. Every person sets out in the morning trading with his own soul, either freeing it or destroying it."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إسباغ الوضوء شطر الإيمان والحمد لله ملء الميزان والتسبيح والتكبير ملء السماوات والأرض والصلاة نور والزكاة برهان والصبر ضياء والقرآن حجة لك أو عليك كل الناس يغدو فبائع نفسه فمعتقها أو موبقها
Its isnad is sahih. Nasai narrated it, 5/85, hadith 2437, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Shuayb, from his brother Zayd, and Muslim narrated it, hadith 223, from Zayd Abu Salam, from Abu Malik Ashari.
