I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever ties up a horse for the cause of Allah and then tends to its feed with his own hand will receive a good deed for every grain."

Sourcing, hasan. Dulabi reported it in al-Kuna, 30/1, from Isa bin Muhammad, with the same wording. Busiri said, "This chain is daif. Muhammad, his father Uqbah, and his grandfather are unknown, the grandfather is not named, and Ahmad bin Yazid is mastur (Taqrib)." It has corroborating narrations in Ahmad, 458/6, and Bukhari, no. 2853, and others.
