Ibn Majah 2769

[Its chain is daif] Darimi (2/203) narrated it through Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi with this same chain, and he said Umar bin Abdul-Aziz never met Uqba bin Amir. Busiri said, "This chain is daif. Salih bin Muhammad was graded daif by Ibn Main, Abu Zura, Abu Hatim, Bukhari, Abu Dawud, Nasai, Ibn Adi, and others."Hakim (2/86) also narrated it through Muhammad bin Salih bin Qays Azraq, from Salih bin Muhammad bin Zaida, from Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, from his father, from Uqba, with this chain, and he graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him. But the flaw in it is obvious, given the weakness of Azraq.
