Anas bin Malik reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A morning's march or an evening's march in the path of Allah is better than the world and everything in it."

عن أنس بن مالك
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لغدوة أو روحة في سبيل الله خير من الدنيا وما فيها
Bukhari narrated it in the book of jihad and military expeditions, in the chapter on setting out morning or evening for the sake of Allah and the space of a bow of one of you in Paradise, hadith 2796 and 2792, from the hadith of Humayd, with the same wording, and he stated explicitly that he heard it directly in his version. Thabit Bunani corroborated him in Muslim, in the book of leadership, in the chapter on the merit of setting out morning or evening for the sake of Allah, hadith 1880.
