Abu Hurairah reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A morning's journey or an evening's journey in the path of Allah is better than the world and all that is in it."

Sahihحدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وعبد الله بن سعيد قالا حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن ابن عجلان عن أبي حازم
عن أبي هريرة قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ غدوة أو روحة في سبيل الله خير من الدنيا وما فيها
[Sahih] Tirmidhi transmitted it in jihad, the chapter on what has been mentioned regarding the merit of setting out morning and evening for the sake of Allah, no. 1649, from the hadith of Abu Khalid, and he said it is hasan ghareeb. It is also found in Musannaf of Ibn Abu Shayba, 5/285, Ibn Ajlan using an ambiguous form of transmission as mentioned before, no. 1967, and his hadith has corroborating narrations in Bukhari, no. 2793, and Muslim, no. 1882, and others.
