The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A mudd of water suffices for ablution, and a saa suffices for the full bath."A man said, "That is not enough for us."He replied, "It was enough for one who was better than you and had more hair," meaning the Prophet ﷺ.
حدثنا محمد بن المؤمل بن الصباح وعباد بن الوليد قالا حدثنا بكر بن يحيى بن زبان حدثنا حبان بن علي عن يزيد بن أبي زياد
قال رسول الله ﷺ يجزئ من الوضوء مد ومن الغسل صاع فقال رجل لا يجزئنا فقال قد كان يجزئ من هو خير منك وأكثر شعرا يعني النبي ﷺ
[Sahih] Busiri said, "This chain is daif due to the weakness of Habban and Yazid, but it has corroborating narrations in Bukhari and elsewhere."
