A Jew killed a young girl for some silver ornaments she was wearing. He asked her, "Did so-and-so kill you?" She gestured with her head, no. He asked her a second time, and she gestured with her head, no. He asked her a third time, and she gestured with her head, yes. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ executed him by crushing his head between two stones.

أن يهوديا قتل جارية على أوضاح لها فقال لها أقتلك فلان فأشارت برأسها أن لا ثم سألها الثانية فأشارت برأسها أن لا ثم سألها الثالثة فأشارت برأسها أن نعم فقتله رسول الله ﷺ بين حجرين
Bukhari transmitted it, in the Book of Divorce, chapter on gesturing in divorce and other matters, hadith 5295 (as a suspended report), 6877, 6879, and Muslim, in the Book of Retribution and Combatants, the aforementioned chapter, hadith 1672, from the hadith of Shubah, through this route.
