[Sahih] Reported by Ahmad, 2/215, from the hadith of Abdul-Rahman bin Ayyash, at length, through him, its isnad is hasan. See no. 2644 for the identification of Abdul-Rahman bin Ayyash, may Allah have mercy on him. The hadith has other routes from Amr bin Shuayb found in Abu Dawud, no. 4506, and Ahmad, 2/178, 180, 192, and others. See also the preceding hadith, as it serves as a corroborating witness for it.
